Voting for the Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus' Maestro for a Moment campaign is almost at its end.
The three candidates can finally stop asking friends and strangers for money to be able to step up on the podium and conduct a piece with the youngsters.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Bill Heard Theatre, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, 900 Broadway. Voting is right up to the beginning of the concert.
Right now, attorney Charles Day is in the lead. The other two candidates are Dr. Joseph Zanga, a local pediatrician, and radio disc jockey Bear O'Brian.
