Columbus police arrested a woman Tuesday afternoon after she was caught on video fighting and having brass knuckles, reports state.
Shanique S. Toombs, 20, was charged about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with two counts of battery and one count each of disorderly conduct, obstruction of an officer and having a dangerous weapon, records state.
According to police, Toombs was involved in a fight with several other women. The fight was videotaped on someone’s cell phone, which an officer viewed.
Police say Toombs hit two women with her fist and kicked a girl in the face. Toombs then left the area, returning later with a set of brass knuckles.
Toombs ran from police, but was caught at Springfield Crossing Apartments, 3320 N. Lumpkin Road, reports state. She was then taken to the Muscogee County Jail.
