Mother cited after she curses in front of school students, faculty

A mother was cited last week after she cursed in front of school students and faculty, Columbus police said.

Mary Coleman, 32, was charged with disorderly conduct, reports state.

Police say Coleman met at some point with the assistant principal of Eddy Middle School, 2100 S. Lumpkin Road, about her child. Coleman grew upset during the meeting and began cursing in front of students and faculty.

On Thursday, Coleman returned to the school to meet with the assistant principal and an officer. She then said she was upset with her child and admitted to cursing. The officer then charged her with disorderly conduct, reports state.
