Muscogee County school officials are investigating a report of an inappropriate cell phone video involving Spencer High football coach Oliver Davis.
“We have an initial report that an inappropriate video could have possibly been distributed by a student to other students -- and or possibly other faculty members -- and those allegations are under investigation,” Valerie Fuller, the school district spokeswoman, said this afternoon.
It wasn't immediately clear what the video contained or whether Davis made it, but Fuller said it allegedly was on his personal cell phone. Davis is still an employee of the school district, Fuller said, and has not been placed on leave amid the investigation.
"They have to gather the facts," Fuller said of school officials. "Once those facts are gathered, a decision will be based upon the evidence. It’s a personnel matter, so it has to go through human resources.”
