Burglar breaks into LaGrange home with resident inside

A burglar broke into a LaGrange home early today with the resident inside, police said.

The suspect got inside the Miller Street home about 12:30 a.m. by climbing through a rear bedroom window. The resident realized someone was inside his home and fled the house when he could no longer hear the suspect moving around. Once safely away, he called police, reports state.

Police say they responded to the home and discovered an undisclosed amount of cash missing.

There is no suspect description. No arrests have been made.
