A man accused of damaging a car and then yelling while standing in the middle of the street was arrested late Sunday, Columbus police said.
William Oscar Riggins, 35, is charged with disorderly while intoxicated and criminal trespass, reports state.
Police say Riggins struck a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville with a chain sometime Sunday, leaving a dent on the driver’s side door.
Officers responded about 11:30 p.m. Sunday to Playfield Road, where they saw Riggins standing shirtless in the middle of the road. Riggins, cursing and yelling, then began running toward two people standing nearby. Officers told him to stop, and Riggins eventually complied, reports state.
