Fort Benning will hold a suicide awareness walk tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the French and Blue soccer fields on Main Post.
The event is being held to provide the community with information about suicide awareness, as well as local resources for families dealing with suicide.
Tricia Radenz will speak at the walk. She and her husband, Lt. Col. Blaine Radenz lost their 12-year-old son when he committed suicide in 2009.
Ambra Roberts, an ambassador for Benning's Tragedy Assistance Program, encouraged families to attend. Roberts' son attempted suicide when he was 13.
