A woman was arrested early Wednesday on accusations she tried to break into a Dawson Street business, Columbus police said.
Bianca D. Kennebrew, 24, faces one count of attempted burglary. A male suspect who was with her about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday ran from police and escaped, reports state.
According to police, an officer was stopped at 29th Avenue and Dawson Street when she spotted Kennebrew and the man standing near the Corner Store. The officer approached and asked what they were doing. The man said he was urinating. When the officer asked him for ID, he ran.
The officer then found a crowbar at the store’s rear door and saw apparent damage to its lock. Kennebrew was then arrested, police said.
