A Muscogee County grand jury indicted a man earlier this week on accusations he pressured a 14-year-old girl to take nude photographs of herself, Superior Court records state.
Carl Anthony Rocco, 59, is charged with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, his indictment states.
According to records, Rocco solicited the photos from the girl between April 1 and Dec. 27.
The girl fled to Montgomery, Ala. by bus on Dec. 27 after Rocco threatened to kill her for refusing to take nude photographs of herself, Columbus police said. The girl reached Montgomery, where she spoke with authorities. She was then returned to Columbus, police said.
