LaGrange crime: Officers, police dog catch burglary suspect in Dawson Street School

Officers responding to a burglar alarm at LaGrange's Dawson Street School caught a suspect trying to steal a computer late Sunday, police said today.

Police arriving at the 200 N. Dawson St. school just before 11 p.m. found a rear glass door had been shattered. They sent a police dog inside and soon found a suspect later identified as Gregory Leon Mobley in the cafeteria, where he was arrested, officers said.

Mobley, 38, of 719 Ridley Ave., LaGrange, was charged with burglary, they said.
