Columbus weather: Highs around 90 degrees to hold through Wednesday

A summer-like warmth is seeping into Columbus' spring weather, with high temperatures around 90 degrees expected today, Tuesday and Wednesday, and nightly lows in the mid-60s.

Here's the week's forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Patchy fog before 8 a.m., then mostly sunny, high 91, winds turning south at 5-10 mph, gusting to 15 mph. Partly cloudy tonight, low 65, southeast wind 5 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high 89, southeast wind 5-10 mph, gusting to 15 mph. Partly cloudy, low 65, east wind 5 mph and turning calm Tuesday night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high 89, wind turning east at 5-10 mph, gusting to 15 mph. Mostly cloudy, low 64 Wednesday night.

Thursday: Partly sunny, high 86. Partly cloudy, low 64 that night.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of thunderstorms, partly sunny, high 86. A 20 percent chance of storms, mostly cloudy, low 64 Friday night.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of storms, partly sunny, high 87. Partly cloudy, low 65 Saturday night.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, high 88.
