Columbus State student rides off with new Cadillac after lottery win

Talk about a nice graduation present.

Channing Taylor got the keys to a brand new Cadillac CTS sedan Tuesday courtsey of his father and the Georgia Lottery, officials announced in a release late Monday.

Taylor’s father purchased the scratch-off ticket to the Cadillac Riches game and gave it to his son as a graduation gift. Channing is scheduled to graduate from Columbus State University next week.

“I’ve got a great dad, and he’s amazing,” Taylor told lottery officials Monday when he was presented with the keys to the new vehicle at Legacy Chevrolet in Columbus.

Taylor, 26, will receive an undergraduate degree in criminal justice and serve as an Army commissioned officer upon graduation. The winning ticket was purchased at the Hamilton Road Chevron, 5731 Veterans Parkway.
