A 10-hour police standoff in Auburn has ended this morning with the suspect in custody, WRBL reports.
No one was injured in the standoff in the area of East University Drive and Old Mill Road.
The standoff began about 6:50 p.m. CDT Monday, after police were called about shots fired in the area.
Police Chief Tommy Dawson told WRBL that an armed man barricaded himself inside a home by himself. No one is believed to be injured.

Several law enforcement agencies were on the scene, including Auburn and Opelika police, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, U.S. Marshals and the Lee County District Attorney’s Office, WRBL said.
