Columbus police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting on Mustang Drive that left a man dead and a woman injured.
Terry Duane Kinsman, 40, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His 45-year-old wife suffered a gunshot wound to her right leg, said Lt. Lynn Joiner.
According to Joiner, officers responded about 9:10 p.m. to a shooting at the Kinsman’s 3230 Mustang Drive home. When they arrived, a neighbor flagged down the officers.
Police say they then spoke with the wife, who told officers she’d been fighting with her husband moments earlier inside their home.

“He went and got a pistol and shot her,” Joiner said. “When she got out of the house, she heard another gunshot.”
Officers then went inside her home and found her husband with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Joiner said he anticipated no charges being filed in the case.
