Seoul Garden robbed by gunman

Seoul Garden on South Lumpkin Road was robbed Tuesday morning by a gunman, Columbus police said.

The suspect entered the store at 2001-4 S. Lumpkin Road about 10:10 a.m. through the back door. Once inside, the suspect pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded cash, reports state.

Police say the suspect then forced the employee from the kitchen into the dining room, where a cash register sat on a counter. The employee was then ordered to hand over cash from the register and his wallet.

After grabbing the undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran through an alley toward Ormond Drive, reports state.

Police say the suspect is a black man, about 5-foot-10, chubby and with facial hair. His hair was in braids. He wore a gray ball cap and a gray T-shirt.
