A father accused of grabbing his infant child and running from his house was arrested early Wednesday on a custody charge, reports state.
Marcus A. Ferrell, 26, is charged with interference with custody, criminal trespass, reckless conduct and simple assault, police said.
According to reports, Ferrell was arguing early Wednesday with his live-in girlfriend at their Lee Street home when he smashed a TV remote on the living room floor. Ferrell then lunged at his girlfriend, grabbing her laptop from her.
Police say Ferrell then got their 9-month-old child from bed and ran from the house. Officers found Ferrell at Dawson Street and 28th Avenue – listed by police as a high crime area.
