A woman found smoking a marijuana cigarette near a 3-month-old child was busted Friday for having more than $4,000 in pot at her home, Columbus police said.
Tina Denise Thomas, 28, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects and reckless conduct, reports state.
Police say they executed a search warrant about 1:15 p.m. Friday at Thomas’ 16th Avenue home. Officers spotted her smoking a marijuana cigarette when they arrived and saw there was a 3-month-old baby in the home at the time.
Police also found $4,390 worth of marijuana, a 9 mm pistol and a digital scale in the house, reports state.

Thomas was then arrested without incident, police said.
