Columbus Police and the Muscogee County Coroner's Office are investigating a 45-year-old woman's death at an Amos Street residence this morning.
The body of Callette Molet was taken from the home by the coroner about 10 a.m. Law enforcement officers had been on the scene at 2322 Amos Street for about two hours. The home is located off Brown Avenue in the East Wynnton neighborhood.
Police Lt. Debra Bohannon stopped short of calling it a homicide investigation.
"This is a death investigation," she said. "We're going to question several people at headquarters."

He declined to say where Molet was shot or if there were multiple gunshot wounds.
Thrower was call just before 8 a.m. The person was pronounced dead at 8:15. The body will be sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
