A Kendrick High School student was robbed and beaten Monday afternoon on the school’s campus, Columbus police said.
The 17-year-old student was on a dirt trail outside the school about 4 p.m. when three suspects kicked, hit and robbed him. The teen had a cut to his forehead, a swollen lip, swollen eye and bloody nose. An ambulance took him to the hospital, reports state.
Police say two of the suspects are boys. Both are black, 16- to 18-years-old and 5-foot-5. Both wore white T-shirts, and blue jeans. Their names are unknown.The third suspect is listed by police as 17-year-old Imani Deloach. She’s a black female, 5-foot-8 and 125 pounds.
Reports state Deloach was arrested May 8 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Officers found a runaway who’d been missing since early March at Deloach’s house.
