Columbus weather: Rain chances are slim; expect a slightly cooler weekend

Columbus' chances of getting rain in the near future are slight, but at least the weather's looking fair for the next few days, WRBL Chief Meteorologist Bob Jeswald said.

There's a chance of some showers to our east today. Winds could reach 15 mph. Highs will climb to about 88.

It'll be partly cloudy tonight, when lows will drip to about 63.

On Friday the chance of rain will be to our south. Highs will be about 84. Winds could gust to 20 mph.

Look for mostly cloudy skies Friday night. Lows will be around 62.

Cooler temps are on the horizon for the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny with highs around 83. Lows will drop to about 62 that night.

Sunday's highs will reach 84. Lows will bottom out around 62 that night.
