Columbus police arrested a man early Wednesday on accusations he contributed to the delinquency of an 11-year-old boy.
Anthony M. Davis, 21, is charged with a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, reports state.
According to police, officers responded about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to a Torch Hill Road home about a missing 11-year-old boy. Police learned the boy sometimes spends time with Davis at his Walker Street home.
Officers found the boy about 90 minutes later with Davis outside a liquor store on South Lumpkin Road. Davis said he’d been to the skate park in front of the civic center, gone to his cousin’s house and currently was taking the boy home, reports state.

Police say they then took the boy to his home. He was charged with being ungovernable, runaway and a curfew violation.
Davis was charged because he helped the child be delinquent, reports state.
