Amos Street shooting death ruled a suicide

Autopsy results show the fatal shooting of a woman at an Amos Street home Tuesday morning was a suicide, authorities said.

Columbus police found the body of Collettte Molet, 45, about 8 a.m. Tuesday when they responded to 2322 Amos St. At the time, officers said they were conducting a death investigation.

Autopsy results later revealed the death to be self inflicted, said Coroner Bill Thrower.

Police say Molet was struck once in the head at the East Wynnton home, just off Brown Avenue.
