Two men accused of breaking into one Columbus home and trying to get inside another were arrested Monday afternoon and charged with burglary, reports state.
Jamar Cortez Hardaway, 27, and Curtis Kuwon Jackson, 18, each face charges of burglary, attempted burglary, theft by bringing stolen property into the state and possession of marijuana, Columbus police said.
Police accuse both men of breaking inside a Holland Drive home and stealing items. The men also tried to get inside a Delfair Drive home.
Officers arrested the pair about 2 p.m. Monday at Bradley Park Drive and Whitesville Road. They had a stolen 9 mm pistol on them and less than an ounce of suspected marijuana, police said.
