For the 11th year, the Georgia Wine Country Festival will be at the Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery near Dahlonega every weekend in June.
The weekends are June 2-3, June 9-10, June 16-17, June 23-24 and June 30. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays.
The Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery is in Chestatee (in Lumpkin County) on 184 acres.
A Georgia Wine Garden will include a keepsake wine glass and wines from all over Georgia can be sampled. Wineries include Boutier Winery in Danielsville, Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia Winery in Ringgold, Horse Creek Winery in Nashville, Crimson 'N Scarlett's Vineyards in Dawsonville and Walasiyi Wine Co. and Fay Boy from Dahlonega.
Food will include Godfather's BBQ, as well as offerings from area chefs and restaurants.
Music will include the Route 66 Band, June 2-3; the Buzzard Mountain Boys, June 3 and June 17; BlueBilly Grit, June 9; Moose & Squirrel, June 10, June 16 and June 24; the Mossy Creek Gypsies on June 23 a nd the Possum Brothers on June 30.
It's free, but the Wine Garden admission is $20.
