A man was shot and a teen robbed late Thursday on the front porch of a 28th Street home, Columbus police said.
The robbery and shooting happened just after 11 p.m., when two suspects walked from the back of the 28th Street home and accosted a 28-year-old man and a 14-year-old teen sitting on the front porch, said Capt. Renee McAneny.
One of the suspects pulled out a gun and told the man and teen they were being robbed.
“That’s when the one was shot and the one was robbed,” McAneny added.

Two women sitting on the front porch with the men were uninjured, the captain said.
The suspects took the teen’s cell phone and a small amount of cash from him. They then fled the way they came, McAneny said.
The man, shot in the left arm and stomach, was taken to The Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, the captain said.
Police say the gunman is a black man in his early 20s, 6-foot-3 and with a slender to medium build. He was dressed all in black.
The second suspect is a black man who’s slightly shorter than his cohort. He also wore all black or dark clothing.
