Columbus police arrested a man early Monday on accusations he fired a gun several times in a mobile home park and then fought with police, reports state.
Kelcey Allen, 30, is charged with discharging a firearm inside the city limits, simple assault, terroristic threats and obstruction of an officer, police said.
According to reports, Allen stepped outside his Victory Mobile Home Park residence on Cusseta Road, yelled at some nearby women and then fired about eight shots. Officers responded to the scene and found several casings on the ground outside Allen’s home.
Police say they then knocked on Allen’s door. He opened his door for officers, who then patted him down. At some point, Allen grabbed an officer’s shirt and vest. That led police to force Allen to the ground.
