The National Infantry Museum will unveil a display Thursday honoring the Army’s Marksmanship Unit, which is headquartered at Fort Benning.
Members of the unit have won more than half of the 44 Olympic shooting medals the country has won. The display will be unveiled Thursday at 1:30 p.m. by five active members of the marksmanship unit who have qualified for the 2012 London Games.
The display will include medals, uniforms, guns and an Olympic torch.
