Columbus Police: Man says he went to bathroom then found visitor, car gone

Columbus police are investigating the report of a stolen car on 11th Avenue.

According to the police report, the 1998 Ford Explorer was taken Monday around 7:30 p.m.

A 39-year-old Columbus man told officers that around 5 p.m. he met a woman who called herself "Cici" at the Marathon gas station on Cusseta Road.

The man told police the two went back to his apartment to watch television. He went to the bathroom and when he came out, Cici was gone. He said he thought she had gone out to use the telephone but about 15 minutes later, he noticed his car and Cici were gone. He had left the keys on the counter.
