Jon Ludwig, the artistic director of Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts, has reworked the Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid."
He's made the Mermaid Princess into a pirate and her prince is also a pirate.
So it's "The Little Pirate Mermaid" and features puppets, original music and stage effects. It can be seen June 14-July 15.
It premiere in 2009 and is one of the most popular children's shows at CPA.

"The Little Pirate Mermaid" can be seen at 10 a.m. and noon Tuesday-Friday; 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. There are no performances on July 3-4.
