Columbus weather: A few more showers, then a great weekend

Showers are a possibility through the week, with the rain moving on by the weekend, WRBL Meteorologist David Reese said.

Expect scattered storms today. Highs will climb to 87.

It'll be mostly cloudy tonight, when lows will dip to 70.

There will be a mixture of sun and clouds Wednesday, with spotty showers in the afternoon. Highs will stretch into the low 90s.

Skies will grow mostly clear Wednesday night, when lows will drop to about 69.

It'll be more of the same Thursday, with the sun and clouds taking turns in the sky. Highs will again break into the low 90s.

Expect mostly clear skies Thursday night, with lows around 70.

The rain should be gone by Friday. No showers are anticipated this weekend.
