Burglars opt to take the kitchen sink

Burglars chose to steal kitchen sinks from two Banks Avenue homes sometime earlier this month, Columbus police said.

The thefts from the two vacant homes happened between June 1 and Wednesday, when the break-ins were discovered. The suspect or suspects got inside the homes through a door or window, and once inside took a $150 kitchen sink and a $200 water heater from each house, reports state.

Police list no suspect description. There have been no arrests.
