A driver with excessive window tint was arrested Sunday night on accusations he had marijuana and a gun, Columbus police said.
Shakill Gallimore, 31, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, having excessive tint and driving while his license was suspended, reports state.
According to police, an officer saw Gallimore about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at River Road and Veterans Parkway. Gallimore’s 1997 Nissan Sentry had excessive tint in its windows, and the officer approached Gallimore and began to investigate.
That officer then found a .25-caliber handgun and $30 worth of marijuana on Gallimore, reports state. Gallimore also had a suspended driver’s license.
