A driver who failed to use his turn signal led Sunday to his arrest and the arrest of his passenger on drug charges, Columbus police said.
Edward Jermain Harvey, 28, and Margaret Allen, 19, were arrested about 6:45 p.m. Sunday outside Burger King, 3715 Victory Drive, reports state.
Harvey is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and not using his turn signal. Allen faces charges of possession of marijuana and giving false information, police said.
According to reports, an officer pulled over Harvey’s 1999 Ford Taurus because he’d failed to use his turn signal. The officer then found $245 worth of marijuana on Harvey.
Police say Allen gave the officer a fake name. She also had about $78 worth of marijuana on her.
