A man was threatened with a knife Wednesday afternoon near 17th Street and Third Avenue after a suspect insisted he was a man called "Duke," according to a Columbus Police Department report.
At about 4:15 p.m., police arrived at the scene where the victim told them he was walking when a man came up to him and said, "Hey Duke." After the victim told the man he wasn't Duke, the suspect pulled out a small knife and exclaimed that he was Duke. He then threatened the victim.
The victim ran away from the man and contacted police. Officers were unable to find the suspect. No arrests were made.
The man was described as a black man with a beard and short afro who was wearing all black clothes except for a red T-shirt during the incident.
