One dead, another injured in a Columbus crash involving pedestrian and a vehicle
One person has died and another is injured after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, according to the Columbus Police Department.
Police said the incident happened at 9:26 p.m. Friday on Fifth Ave. near 20th St., according to a post on the CPD X account, formerly Twitter.
A 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at 10:01 p.m., according to police. Police said a 44-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital and was stable at that time.
CPD’s Motor Squad was investigating, according to the post.
