Police seek missing infant and 16-year-old mother

The LaGrange Police Department is seeking help from the public to locate a 3-month-old child who is missing from a Johnson Street location. Police identified the child as Jaden M. Ogletree who is with his 16-year-old mother, T'erica Ogletree. Both were in custody of the Department of Family and Children Services when the child was reported missing at 11:20 a.m. today.

Police said the mother and child may be traveling to Tampa, Fla., or Atlanta. Both children are considered deprived under Georgia law because they are not under proper parental supervision.

Police described the mother and child as black. The mother was last seen wearing black, white and gray tights, blue jean jacket with chains and rips in the back and gray, black and white "Jordan" shoes. The infant was wearing a blue "onesie" with basketballs and baseballs on the front. Both may be traveling in an older red car.
