Jones, Day lead Glenwood past East Memorial

Clayton Jones scored 23 points and Trip Day came close to a triple double Thursday to lead Glenwood over East Memorial 71-56.

Sophmore Day had 21 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocked shots. Dalton Walker scored 19 points for the Gators.Thursday at Glenwood

Grant's 32 paces Lakeside to win over Macon-East

CECIL, Ala. -- Kasey Grant had 32 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four assists to lead Lakewood to a 62-33 win over Macon-East.

Sydney Williams had 11 steals for Lakeside.

Grant earlier in the day signed a letter of intent to play softball at Anderson University in South Carolina.Thursday at Cecil, Ala.
