Georgia Tech rallies past Duke

DURHAM, N.C. -- Georgia Tech rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Duke 5-2 in an ACC matchup on Friday afternoon.

Matthew Gorst (1-2) picked up the win in relief. He pitched 2 1-3 innings, keeping the Blue Devils off the board. Zac Ryan picked up the save.

Daniel Spingola went 3-for-5 and Kel Johnson went 2-for-4 to lead the Jackets (13-4, 3-1). Johnson extended his hitting streak to eight games.

The series will continue at 1 p.m. Saturday.
