Ray leads Louisville to 8-3 win over Georgia Tech

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Corey Ray went 3-for-5 and drove four runs Saturday to lead No. 6 Louisville to an 8-3 win over No. 28 Georgia Tech at Patterson Stadium.

Cole Pitts (0-3) gave up five runs on two hits and five walks and took the loss for Tech (17-9, 5-6 Atlantic Coast Conference. He was pulled after walking the first two batters in the second inning.

Brendan McKay (4-0) gave up three runs on four hits and struck out seven to get the win for Louisville (20-7. 10-1).

A.J. Murray went 2-for-4 to lead Tech.

The two teams meet Sunday at 1 p.m. for the final game of the series.
