Armstrong State tennis teams sweep Columbus State

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The Columbus State tennis teams had a difficult day Saturday as both lost 9-0 at Armstrong State.

The No. 8 CSU men (12-3, 5-2 Peach Belt Conference) failed to win a set in the nine matches against No. 4 Armstrong State (11-3, 4-0).

The Cougars beat the Pirates last season, the first regular season PBC loss for Armstrong since 2009.

The No. 9 Lady Cougars (12-2, 8-1) didn't win a set against No. 1 Armstrong State (17-0, 7-0), which has not lost a PBC regular season match since 2003.

The CSU teams play at Flagler on Sunday at 11 a.m.
