CVCC loses Game in extra innings at Bishop State; Game 2 suspended

MOBILE, Ala. -- Chattahoochee Valley fell 7-6 in 12 innings at Bishop State on Saturday afternoon in Game 1 of a doubleheader.

CVCC led 7-5 after five innings in Game 2, when the game was suspended due to darkness. No date has been set when the game will resume.

CVCC led 6-5 going into the bottom of the ninth inning in the opener, but gave up a run to force extra innings.

Tyler Welch (1-2) took the loss.

Tyler Lynn went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs for the Pirates. Hunter Webb also drove in two runs.
