Columbus State tennis teams sweep Shorter

The Columbus State tennis teams swept Shorter on Wednesday with the men winning 6-3 and the women winning 7-2.

The eighth-ranked Cougars (14-3) won two of the three doubles matches. Oussama Zoghlami and Martynas Zakaitis and Maciej Kierkus and Benedikt Wilde won their matches for CSU.

Adi Malicbegovic, Marco Almorin and Zoghlami won in singles.

The ninth-ranked Lady Cougars (14-2) also went 2-1 in doubles. Camila Tobar and Kirsa Utech and Elena Preadca and Olivera Tadijin won their matches.

Giorgia Vitale, Saravinder Pannu, Preadca, Tadijin and Tobar won in singles.
