High school roundup: Central wins Gulf Shores Classic III

GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Central went 4-0 Wednesday to win the Gulf Shores Classic III.

The Lady Red Devils defeated Hoover 2-1, Sweetwater 10-1, Hayden 9-4 and Thompson 3-1.

Allie Kelley picked up the win in three of the games.

Taylor Corbett picked up two hits in each game, finishing the day 8-of-12 with two doubles, four runs scored and three RBIs.Wednesday at Gulf Shores
