The Professional Indoor Football League announced on Tuesday that Columbus Lions quarterback Casey Kacz is the PIFL Week 3 Offensive Player of the Week.
Filling in for injured starter, back-up Kacz earned his first professional indoor start over the weekend leading the Lions to a 70-60 road win over Trenton, leaving them as the only remaining unbeaten team in the PIFL.
In addition to tying a franchise single-game high 8 passing touchdowns with current AFL QB Randy Hippeard, Kacz completed 25 of 40 passes setting the Lions all-time mark for most passing yards in a single game with 350.
Lions receiver Terrance Ebagua earned an honorable mention for the week, leading all receivers for the week by nabbing 12 receptions for 196 yards and four touchdowns.
