Columbus Lions rally to defeat Richmond 47-43 and stay unbeaten

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Columbus Lions rallied in the third quarter Saturday night to take the lead and then held on to defeat Richmond 47-43.

Richmond led 27-22 at the half, but the Lions outscored them 12-3 in the third quarter to go up 34-30.

The Lions (3-0) then trade scores with Richmond (1-3) in the fourth quarter.

The Lions return to action Saturday when they host Nashville at 7 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center.
