ATLANTA -- Eli White homered twice and drove in four runs to power Clemson to an 11-3 win over Georgia Tech Saturday at Russ Chandler Stadium.
Tech took a 1-0 lead in the first on A.J. Murray's RBI double, but Clemson took control in the third inning on White's first homer, a two-run shot. Clemson added to their lead with single runs in the fifth and seventh innings and then three runs each in the eighth and ninth innings.
Murray also homered in the sixth inning and drove in two runs for Tech on the day.
Cole Pitts (0-5) gave up four runs on four hits and four walks in 4 1-3 innings and took the loss.
Zack Erwin (4-3) allowed three runs on seven hits and struck out seven to pick up the win.
Tech (25-17, 10-13 Atlantic Coast Conference) plays Clemson (23-20, 12-10) Sunday at 1 p.m.
