Cottonmouths announce home opener for 2016

The Columbus Cottonmouths will open the 2015-16 home season Friday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m., the team announced Tuesday.

This year will mark the 20th season for the Snakes, and the team will be sporting a new logo for the season.

"The Columbus Cottonmouths have become a Columbus tradition," Coach Jerome Bechard said in a news release Tuesday. "We want to keep the tradition, and mix in a new experience for all fans."
