Coroner IDs victim in vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in Columbus over weekend
The victim of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that occurred over the weekend in Columbus has been identified.
A post on the Columbus Police Department X (formerly known as Twitter) page says the accident occurred in the area of Victory Drive and Benning Drive. The post says the accident is under investigation.
The victim has been identified as Anthony Hughley, 38, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
Bryan said Hughley was pronounced dead at 2:02 a.m. Sunday at a local hospital.
