More than a dozen local Columbus businesses will have special deals for “Small Business Saturday” at Uptown Columbus, the organization announced Friday.
Uptown Columbus is encouraging shoppers to support local businesses offering deals.
“In a time when big businesses are only getting bigger and some local businesses are struggling to keep their doors open, it’s more important than ever to support your favorite small shop,” Uptown Columbus said in a news release.
Customers shopping in Uptown on “Small Business Saturday” will have a chance at winning one of two gift baskets, with both baskets having a combined value of $1,400, according to the release.
Shoppers must make a purchase at any of the participating businesses for a chance to win, according to Uptown Columbus. The winners will be announced on Tuesday.
