Callaway extends Fantasy in Lights season due to popular demand – and calendar quirk
Although the calendar says Christmas is over, if you still are seeking ways to continue the celebration in the Columbus area, Callaway Resort & Gardens has good news for you.
Callaway has extended its season for Fantasy in Lights by adding six days to the holiday attraction. So, instead of ending Dec. 30, it will run through Jan. 5.
Fantasy in Lights, listed among National Geographic’s “Top 10 Light Displays in the World,” is a seven-mile, drive-through exhibit at Callaway, 17800 U.S. Highway 27, in Pine Mountain. It features the Callaway Christmas Village and immersive holiday scenes synchronized to Christmas tunes.
“The extended dates provide more opportunities for families to create lasting holiday memories,” Callaway’s news release says. “Guests can experience iconic displays such as Snowflake Valley, the Tunnel of Lights, and the towering 10-story Magical Field of Lights Christmas tree, the tallest in the South.”
Callaway extended Fantasy in Lights this year, the news release says, due to popular demand and Christmas falling mid-week.
Tickets for Fantasy in Lights, which include access to all Callaway attractions, start at $24.99 for adults and $19.99 for children. Overnight packages start at $299 per night. Advance reservations are required.
